Jibo is an interactive robot designed to be in a home and to interact with different family members in unique ways, by taking messages, video, photographs, etc. Advertised as being a robotic personal assistant (although it doesn't move) the robot aims to recreate the home entertainment system for the digital age: one device which can connect to the internet, monitor a home's energy and amenities, interact with individuals (by voice command) and help manage tasks.
