Augmented reality apps for children with Down Syndrome
IntAR21 develops inclusive educational resources using augmented reality. Using technology, they seek to enhance learning, complement education and deliver tools that can also be used by children with Special Educational Needs, in individual and group activities.
A series of activities develop children’s cognitive and linguistic skills prior to learning to read and write, through unique experiences. The activities develop fine-motor features and hand–eye coordination. Through unique stimuli and memorable experiences children use several senses at once. The tools help them learn in a much more entertaining and meaningful way.
