EMA is a new foundation campaigning for the transition from a ‘linear’ economy, based on the sale of products made with built-in obsolescence, to a ‘circular’ economy, where products are designed to last, and businesses’ revenues come from services and access rather than unit sales. Partners include B&Q, BT/Cisco, National Grid and Renault, and schools.
