Helping make one of the world's worst commutes easier

Project URL:

  • Environment & Sustainability

Every day, hundreds of thousands of people cross the border from Shenzhen, in mainland China, into Hong Kong. It's described as one of the world's worst daily commutes.

Easiway aims to fix this with an Uber-esque service that partners with existing companies to automate the process of hailing a van or other type of crossing transportation.

In the app, users can select a time, choose pick-up and drop-off locations and book transportation. It's available in English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean, and they claim that their service will shorten your journey time between Shenzhen and Hong Kong by at least 50 minutes.
