Activ84Health uses Google Streetview images and opens a window to the world for users that can no longer go outside independently. The platform stimulates reminiscence, challenges the user to remain physically active and train their memory, and promotes exploration in a safe environment.
In a typical setup, the platform is coupled to a stationary bike to engage the user in physical activity through biking, and the images are projected onto a big screen. Users simply select a street on a map, and then get the visual experience of cycling through that location, all from a stationary bike.
